3.02 billion! Xinjiang 1GW photovoltaic project started

On October 22, the groundbreaking ceremony for the 1GW photovoltaic power generation project of Wuhan Tianyuan Energy Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Tianyuan Environmental Protection, was held at the project site in Wusu City. The start of this project marks the official launch of the first photovoltaic new energy construction project jointly created by Wuhan Tianyuan Energy Co., Ltd. and Wusu City. Relevant leaders of the Tacheng Prefectural Committee, the Seventh Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, the Wusu Municipal Committee and Municipal Government, and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Power Grid, as well as company leaders such as Huang Kaiming, Chairman of Tianyuan Environmental Protection, attended the event.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Zhang Yongning, Secretary of the Wusu Municipal Committee, delivered speeches on behalf of the Wusu Municipal Committee and Municipal Government, and Tang Zhengyun, Vice President of Tianyuan Environmental Protection, delivered speeches on behalf of Tianyuan Environmental Protection. Ni Wei, General Manager of Tianyuan Environmental Protection Energy Company, gave a detailed introduction to the project. The project covers an area of ​​35,000 acres, with a total installed capacity of 1GW, equipped with 150mw/300mwh of energy storage, and a total investment of about 3.02 billion yuan. The annual power generation is expected to be about 1.4 billion kWh, which can save nearly 500,000 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 1 million tons. Afterwards, leaders and guests from both sides jointly cut the ribbon for the project foundation and witnessed this historic moment.

The construction of this project will effectively promote the development of clean energy resources in Tacheng area and Huyanghe City of the Seventh Division, promote the construction of a new energy cluster area of ​​10 million kilowatts in Wusu City, and play an important role in alleviating the operating pressure of the power grid of the Corps in Huyanghe City of the Seventh Division, ensuring regional energy security and high-quality economic and social development, and at the same time help Tianyuan Environmental Protection achieve leapfrog development in the green energy sector.
